julia louis dreyfus sucked on saturday night live

jason alexander sucked in everything, pretty woman & especially on seinfeld

micheal richards was great on "fridays" & was ok on seinfeld but not really so who thinks it was a curse or the simple fact none of them can act?

the show was funny, but mostly bc they are more like real ppl.

yeah i def agree its their chemistry

Julia Louis Dreyfus was on SNL before Seinfeld ever started.

Jason Alexander was in Pretty Woman before Seinfeld ever started.

All four of them were incredible on Seinfeld because they did their jobs right; they had people who loved to hate them and hated to love them and that's how they were supposed to come across to the audience. The audience had to love them just enough to keep tuning in every week, and the audience had to hate them enough so as to curse them when they did stupid things! The writing and the acting on that show were brilliant! You know they played their parts right when the audience kept tuning in.

I think that they did the show too long; whenever someone looks at JLD, they think Elaine. Whenever they look at JA, they think George. Whenever they look at MR, they think he's going to come sailing through a doorway, via Kramer.

They're all brilliant actors, but they've been type-cast because of Seinfeld. They can't shed those personas because they were such a huge part of popular culture in the sitcom era (the 90s).

The problem is they don't have a brilliant writing team like they did on Seinfeld. Their shows are actually pretty funny, and they all do a great job on them - it's just, it's not Seinfeld, y'know? There is no neurosis or cattiness or paranoia.

It's sad, because they're all very talented people.
