Any parent who scolds a child for asking a question like that is asking for trouble. Children are naturally curious, and go to their parents (whom they are supposed to trust) to find out the truth. I hope that child has another trusted adult in their life to fill in where their irresponsible parents are failing.

the kid should be told the answers if they are old enough to know which is any age over 6 and if they are asking to have sex then yes they should be scolded

the kid will probably not find proper information (thanks to abstinence only sexed) and will either get an std or pregnant. and of course, the parents will blame the kid for it.

the only people who should be scolded are the parents.

They will now get on here and ask dumb questions like "am I pregnant?" BTW the parents ought to be beaten.

the child won't know the dangers of pregnancy out of wedlock. he/she needs to know or he/she won't know and may ask someone other than their parents.
