In Shrek 2, does anyone else think that Shrek and Fiona should have stayed human instead of turning back into ogres in the end? I thought that Shrek was super cute, in a animated sort of way.

That is the point about love and sacrifice.
Although human Shrek wasn't too bad, I did feel badly for Donkey.

Love the Shrek movies, but I agree. I liked them as humans, but I am glad they were turned back into ogres. Porves that beauty is really on the inside. I cant wait for Shrek 3...by the way...I used to work for a theater and there will be a Shrek 4 as well.

Love shrek! That would have changed the whole point of the movie if they became human (or stayed that way). Shrek is a cute ogre and so is Fiona!

Shrek 2 was pretty good I have it on DVD, there's a Shrek 3 coming out next Summer.

Hah. It's funny you should say that because I actually look like Shrek.
Anyhoo, it's the whole fairy tale thing. Beauty is only skin-deep and all that. They were both very happy as ogres and Fiona's parents finally accepted that by the end. Everyone wins.

Love SHrek! The adult humor is great. I personally loved the ending of Shrek 2. It teaches kids that it's better to be who you are than someone else. Regardless of how good the characters did look, I think it's better they changed back into themselves.
