This is a laptop? There may be something wrong with yoiur charger!
Make sure it is shutting down entirely when you turn it off.
If this is a desktop, yoiu have power supply or motherboard problems, a CMOS battery should last for years.

If you have your computer unplugged all the time, it'll kill the CMOS battery fast. Keep it plugged in all the time (plugged in, not on), and you should be fine.
