Hmmm, good question!
I really liked Delita from Tactics (PS1 version) - he had a real ego!
I also really liked Cyan from FF6, his introduction was so cool - something like "with the strenght of 100 men ....." He could really do some big damage and was a reliable character.
FF5 - Pretty cool.
FF6 - In my opinion, this game had just too many cool characters, it's FF7's biggest rival!
FF7 - one of my all time favourites - but I'm not going to go on about it as people have almost killed 7 by doing so!
FF-Tactics (PS1) - Better than the gameboy advance version in many respects - one of my favourites!
FF8 - Not bad - revolutionary graphics at the time!
FF9 - Ouch! What on Earth! A main character who looks like a certain hollywood star and has a name similar to a famous French Footballer? This game did the series no favours!
FF10 - This is more like it - but it's no 6 or 7!

The first Final Fantasy game I owned was Final Fantasy II for the SNES (aka Final Fantasy IV). But the best Final Fantasy game I've played, and certainly the one I've always had a great attachment to, was Final Fantasy III (aka Final Fantasy VI). I had both some of the best characters, like Terra, and the best villians (Kefka). All the charcters in that game were really great, and given a chance to shine, with both specific battle skills and entire side quests that delve into their history. As popular as the characters from FFVIII were and are, I never felt I knew them as well as the ones from the previous game, despite being in 2D.

well i personally am a big fan of cloud, i mean you can do so much with him if you just take the time and the effort. he has the strength speed and decent magic ability that makes him a good all around character. yeah i know that he has his problems in some of the earlier games but if you work with him he can dominate just about anything in like one or two hits, ive never had a problem using him and i always make sure that i can get him the most exp. possible, he's just so powerful when he can get those levels that if you keep with him he can work almost like a god. well there you go sorry if you dont like him but i think he is awesome.

Tides from FFX. mainly that was my first FF game I owned. Then I got FF VII and Then I and II for the PSX. It just keept going from there and it's still going now for the reason He's my favorite. He starts off as trying to be some what a hero in his father's shadow's and he eventualy turn's out to be greater then his father.

Vincent Valentine is the character I like, from his loyalty towards love, his enigmatic background, his unpredictable strength, and his just way to cool... he can be both long range (gunner) and short range (beast) fighter and his clothing is cool, his claw, his boot, everything on him... and he was a turk as well, which means he's cool since last time when cloud still a soldier... (i like cloud too, but i love vincent)...

My favourite character in FF4 is Tellah for spending his life to cast Meteo, while my favourite in FF6 would be Sabin because his abilities were really cool. Anyway, most characters in FF4 and FF6 are simply awesome because of their well-defined and rich background. Shadow in FF6 was cool definitely as a ninja!
* True indeed. Characters in FF7 and FF8 over-rated!

im gonna go with cecil from ff2. that was the first final fantasy i played and he was why i got sucked into the whole FF series to begin with. i really liked cloud, but that is more of an overall piece of greatness with FFVII, not so much cloud by himself.

No. Hell no. that ought to make no sense, Noel became no longer there from the initiating. He became no longer area of the unique FFXIII solid. it may well be a finished betrayal to Snow's finished objective for being in FFXIII. to no longer point out Serah seems to attraction to Snow lots greater. That only does not in high quality condition it may well be such an fool circulate i wouldn't in any respect purchase yet another recent FF game returned. yet I for one additionally do in comparison to Snow's character, he's only demanding. Noel is cool in each little thing. yet him being with Serah only does not in high quality condition.
