Do you believe that their are signs of life better known as "aliens" on other planets?

Do you also think maybe they have their own little town or village and differnt belifs then us?

I have always wonderd about this, just want to know what everyone else thinks... and why they think that?

Yes, I think there is other life. We exist in a galaxy of 100 billion suns. Our "next door neighbor" galaxy, the Andromeda, has 200 billion suns. We used to think the whole heavens revolved around us (geocentric-ism). We know so much more now. There are trillions of galaxies, each with on the average 100 billion stars in them. Even in our own galaxy, we can see "planetary nebulae" -- a place where a new sun and planets are forming. Seems to be a tendency for this to happen. And there also seems to be a tendency for stars to form. When galaxies collide, which they do, their spiral arms trigger starburst regions 1000s of light years across. It's happening everywhere and everywhen. It seems highly inefficient to create such a vast universe if we're the only thing in it. Heck, except for two in the southern hemisphere and one in the northern hemisphere, we can't even see other galaxies without a telescope, so they're not out there "to please our eyes." And as I said, there are TRILLIONS of galaxies that we can see, maybe a lot more that we can't see, they're just too far away. We can't rule it out that there could come a day when interstellar/intergalactic distances are surmountable. I sure don't see how, but, hey, who could ever conceive of a color TV in 2000 B.C.? In any event, I'm pretty sure I won't live long enough to find out if there's other life out there, to say nothing of towns, villages, and alien belief systems.

First, there either ARE signs of life on other planets, or there ARE NOT. What you "believe" about these signs (a simple fact) is irrelevant. It doesn't matter whether you believe in gravity or not: jump off a building, you are going to fall to your death. Gravity exists. It is a simple fact. Your belief system does not change its existence nor its effect.

Second, as of this time, there are NO signs of life anywhere in the viewable universe ... except for right here on good old Earth. And given the state of the world's educational systems, the intelligent life on this planet is dying off at an alarming rate.

Yes. But all the holly wood videos always show them invading us. The real truth is we would invade them. You may have noticed that the Israelites crucified Christ and God said that only the wickedist nation would do that.

So assuming that aliens have (a) nation(s) they are actually quite nice and we are the more wicked intelligent beings. Look at our politics and that shows you. They would probably try to stay as far a way as possible. We would end up invading before they do.

(If your NOT Christian don't give me a hard time).

Scientifically speaking, I am not sure. But to not, at least, consider the possibility would be foolish.

Spiritually speaking though, I have faith in their existence. I am filled with joy, and excitement, when I wonder what their life must be like.

I can't wait for the day when man evolves enough to end the petty disputes we have here on earth, and find out for ourselves by getting off of this planet and exploring the heavens.

Yeah I always wonder. But, I am sure there has to be life out there. I can't believe we are the only one living in this planet. Its just maybe in another galaxy and since we can't get there then we dont know. What about UFO'S? I saw a special on UFO'S and I truly believe tha there is something out there =)

The odds of there not being life on other planets is 700000000000000000000000000 to 1. You tell me.

I'm not sure there is life on this planet...
Since my christianity colors my views of such things, I would they IF there is life on other planets, they know who their creator is. Its then likely they would avoid this planet like the plague.
Their world would vastly different from ours as God would be the focal point of everything and so far more advanced technologically too.

Yes, there is life out there.
If you research, there are structures and monuments right here on earth scattered in Peru, Egypt, England, South America, that indicate alien visits many years back.
NASA is aware of UFO entering our atmosphere. They just withhold that information to avoid public panic.

Yes, there must be life out there in the universe. This is a big world so they will be nothing like us, thus no villages etc. and everything will be different.

Yeap alien, they should be our friend in years 3000. But according to the holy books, we do not have time to reach that future when our universe collide each other. Eventhough there is alien out there, we will never ever have the chance to meet them.
