After 2 failed marriages and now ending an abusive relationship my friend has given up on finding her one true love. I'm after a kind, meaning full reading to give to her.

Yes i know you are down, but this reminds me of potatos, they grow, and get eaten. No you are being eaten, but you will eveuntually get crapped out into freedom sailing down a long tunnel to happiness. There you will find other potatos like you! Who knows, maybe you might have spuds! (children) Don't be a weak potato, be a strong potato, HURRAY FOR POTATOS!! I heard it from a speech some odd guy gave, but it moved me.

Dim The Lights

Dim the lights, they hurt my eyes,
disturb my thoughts and echo my cries.
Give me shadow where they were once.
Let me sit here with no response.

Darkness does not frighten me
it calms my mind and lets me see
the light of hope that softly glows
on far horizons that shadow knows.

Take the phone from its cradle,
rest it silent on the table.
Don't let the tv flicker bright.
Allow the pleasant dark of night.

Shadow! Shadow! Comfort me!
Come close my friend and just be!
Shadow! Shadow! Please stand guard
Don't let the light be so hard!

Illumination gives and takes
It lights equally the mends and breaks
the harshess of its judgements are
too harsh and not particular

Shadow! With your gentle ways
you soften me to pastel greys
Shadow! Come and cover me
With the blanket of anonymity

If I were to believe

If I were to believe there is no god
I would be filled with deep despair
My life would seem so empty really
And I'd wonder why I was there..

If I were to believe there was no karma
I would wonder why things got so bad
I would want to know if death was the end
Should I feel more unhappy, more sad

If I were to not believe any psychology
I'd wonder why we had a mind at all
And wonder why I was wondering this
I'd not understand anything at all

If I didn't believe in a measure of luck
A chance, a break in life, an opportunity,
Then I could not know when I saw it
That wonderful thing called serendipity

P.S: Living in sorrows is not the way you should listen to your friends and what they say, Find the people who understands what you like and understand the same way, Slow and steady or Step by step is a good thing do to, I might not know this but i do understand sadness and true love are things that i hold dear to my heart.
