At my work place I noticed the CEO of the company is very well dressed, but like him some men wear white undershirts under their dress shirt, becuase they don't wear ties. Are you supposed to, so you can hide the skin and any hair on the chest. What is the right way to do this?

the reason men wear white tee shirts under their dress shirts is for 2 reasons. one, for persperation, so that when they sweat the tee shirt captures it instead of making stains under the arm of your shirt (which is gross). and 2, the color of the shirt is more crisp with a white shirt underneth instead of flesh or hair.and just a little info... its ok if the collar of the tee sicks out a liitle if your not wearing a tie. also women like men who are clean and crisp enough to know to wear a tee shirt under their dress shirts and polo shirt. it was a turn off when i was dating and i could tell if a guy wasnt wearing one... hope i helped!

It is optional to wear a undershirt under your dress shirt.
It is more common with this day and age not to wear a
tie and they wear a undershirt to avoid wearing one.
Yes, you can wear a undershirt. Try it and see if your
feel comfortable. Some wear a undershirt to help with
sweat on their back. Not to ruin their expensive shirt
as easily. A personal choice.

That is what they make Undershirts for. I just loved underware man in the news paper. He was covering it all and yet it left mystery. Like women need Bras and man needs under equipment. OK

Yes you should...undershirts keep sweat marks from showing as well as keep you warmer in cooler climates, it looks professional for a working environment.
