I access the internet through Comcast broadband with McAfee virus protection. Do I have this set up wrong? Some of my email online magazines also do this, but did not do this when I was on dial-up. If I forward an email to a friend and have them forward it back to me, I usually get it with the pictures viewable.

this happens to me a LOT with Yahoo mail, and Netscape on a Mac. less on the same computer using Internet Explorer.
i think that for me, the problem is that yahoo mail isn't fully compatible with Nescape on Yahoo. maybe something similar is happening to you.

Your Yahoo mail is not set to read html script in email messages.
