SHARKS! Many times my company has held extravagant meetings at resorts around the gulf of Mexico. The extracurricular events are geared towards the ocean. My father was eaten by a shark, he was on the USS INDIANAPOLIS when it went down. The stories the survivors close to him told me is still more than I can stand, However many my dad saved even when they said his legs had been bitten off, does not make me feel any better about the ocean. I will not even go to the lakes in my state for fear of the unknown that lays beneath.

I have a fear of deep water that I cant see the bottom of.
I'm fine in a pool but I wont go in a lake or river . I'm a very good swimmer so its not fear of drowning. I also don't like to drive across bridges, I do it but I hate it,perhaps its related to my deep water fear . Ive never had a near drowning or ran off a bridge or even come close . I know my fear is irrational but I cant shake it .I bet a psychiatrist would have fun with this one .

I don't like creepy crawlers of any kind; including snakes and spiders. Sometimes, I poke fun of it. I wrote a humor piece about finding a spider in my bathroom one time...it got a pretty good chuckle...but I rate millipedes as my number one aversion. Have you ever seen one? Think centipede multiplied by a hundred. The sight of one causes me to shrink in horror and revulsion...and I will avoid the area for days before venturing back to take another look. I once emptied an entire can of insect repellent on one (it was overkill) will shaking the whole time...and then had to have someone over to remove it from my sight as it lay under a layer of towels and a mound of plastic ware. It looked like Bunker Hill by the time I was through!

I don't like to fly.
I had a fear of learning to ride a motorcycle. Could not do, scared of crashing. But I did it. Now I'm a cool biker chick. Ha!

The deepest parts of my own mind. I am bipolar and somethings that I have thought of are very fear-full.
