Demarcates are for everyone, that is why the promise everthing to everyone and then give nothing in return. Show me a poor democrat. Republicans are there for the country as a whole, they want to protect our way of life, the support the rich in that they will create means for the poor, not just throw our money at them.

There are tons of Rich Democrats who claim to care for the Poor but never invite Poor people over while getting Drunk on French Wine and Fat on French Cuisine.
Don't anyone lie to me about the Democrats caring for the Poor.
Michael Moore is a good example of one of those Rich Democrats who cares only for himself and will sell his Propaganda movies for Money and Attention.
It's no wonder even some Anti-Bush Democrats spotted lies in Farenheit 9/11 (some even though Moore went too far with his hatred of Bush).
By the way I live in Michigan and the job loss trend didn't happen till Jennifer Granholm (Democrat) became Governor in 2003.
Ok her predecessor John Engler (Republican) was not the greatest Governor himself but at least jobs didn't disappear quickly under him.

No. Republicans want to give poor people a chance to stand on their own two feet. To break the cycle of welfare that a lot of families have become stuck in. The welfare reforms proposed by the Republicans aren't to keep people from having emergency assistance if necessary but to make people self-reliant and give people self respect. Democrats put this idea down because they can give away free money to people and get those people to vote for them. They keep those people trapped in the welfare system just to get re-elected. Welfare is meant to be a way to get someone through a hard period on their life, not to support someone from birth to death. Democrats act as though Republicans want to throw people out on the street when that really isn't the case. Republicans want people to realize the American Dream of becoming successful, independent citizens. There will always be those people who are disabled or are otherwise incapable of getting a good job who will be on welfare, Republicans know this and aren't trying to hurt those people at all.

No! Both parties are designed to be for the rich. The rich give both partes the money to advertise to the voters. The day a poor person can be elected to national office is the day a party is for the poor. Rich people like Kerry, Kennedy and Pelosi saying they are for the poor is the same as the old cliche, "We're from the government and we're here to help you."

It use to be that way a long time ago; But now the two political parties practically have the same agenda.
Republicans borrow the money to frivolously spend. The Democrats tax us to do their spending.
In the end, the little guy pays for all the irresponsibility.
Borrowing is usually responsible for inflation and taxing leaves our paychecks with less money.
The difference between a Republican and a Democrat?....the color of the ties their wearing.

Yes, the Democrats care deeply about the poor. In fact, all the Democratic politicians in the land have pledged to give up all their wealth to "help the poor." This is why they are morally superior. Vote Democrat!

look at what each party votes for... Republican: to extend tax breaks that 90 percent benefits the rich... and to repeal estate taxes, that tax properties over $2 million.. and give themselves large raises
Democrats: to raise minimum wage and vote themselves raises...
so it seems that the Democrats are for both the wealthy and the poor, while the Republicans are for the wealthy...
Gwen: Republicans have the majority... and the president... I doubt the Democrats would filibuster the idea, since they haven't filibustered worse ideas, clearly... so, why hasn't this "welfare change" gotten done yet?

The Democrats would like you to think that, but actually they are for "making you poor". The Income Tax was first initiated by Democrats.

i imagine a significantly better thanks to positioned that is that Republicans ought to choose to be wealthy and choose the prospect to artwork in the route of that (being company vendors, saving privately for retirement, making an investment in the marketplace) at the same time as Democrats are content textile being poor or center class and in accordance to others for help (authorities healthcare, social amenities, public social safe practices). i do not in any respect recommend to intend that Democrats do not choose to achieve fulfillment, or that Republicans haven't any further something else on their minds, i'm merely putting forward that each and each and every social gathering has their own concept of the thanks to attain fulfillment: in my view or on the backs of others
