I love my job. I can't believe they pay me to do what I do. & if I keep it up, they'll give me a raise at the end of the year. That said...it took a lot of un-fulfilling jobs to get where I am today, not to mention a lot of school. In my experience, people usually perform really well in things that they like to do. When the boss gives you a project / task if there is a part you do great in (probably becasue you liked it), then they will give you more of the same tasks (if possible, of course)

Over time, my jobs have become more fulfilling. I hesitate to say that my job fulfills me.

I'm stuck in the corporate rat race, doing my best to support my family with a touch of class- but it seems so fake...

I dream of quitting my job and becoming a musician--- maybe one of these days, I will actually do it...

YES! i work for a small web-based company (Yahoo hosted!) and am one of three employees. it offers great quality of life, wonderful atmosphere and low stress...but not the greatest pay. hopefully that will come in time. but for now, i have to work two jobs to pay the bills. good things come to those who wait, right?

over my life i have had jobs that did and jobs that didn't and sometimes the same job that would change whether it did or not.

it's not binary of course yes or no. it's a matter of degree how much your job gives you in a balanced life.

I like my work. I don't like the morons who run the place. I could be productive if management would get out of the way.

Not at all, which is why I'm looking for a new one.

It's hard to find one that does.
