It has a;ways seemed that way to me. What are they suggesting, that black criminals attack whites instead?
Why don't they just say "stop the violence" without putting race in it.

Why do people have to make a racist issue out of a statement that simply mentions color. The word black was obviously used to get the message to a specific group. It was in no way worded in a derogatory manner, if anything it is worded in a positive manner.

No not so racist as it is just a tired old phrase that some regurgitate because they cannot come up with their own thoughts but they wish to express another 'fault' that black people have.
I don't pay attention to it or anyone who uses it. I have very little time for the small-time numb skull wannabe racist.

Not really. Statistically crime is mostly committed against persons of the same race. Black on black, white on white. It is a misconception spread by the media that white people should be afraid of black people because they might commit a crime against them. Statistically speaking, white people are more likely to be attacked by a white person. Actually you are most likely to be murdered by someone you know intimately, then by someone you know, then someone within your own race.
Anyway, I don't think it is racist. I think that the black community leaders should embrace that and really spread that ideal. Get their community to unite and not have so much turmoil within their own race. Seems like a positive message to me.

I think you have correctly identified a certain 'kind' of politically-correct racism, which is simply, stated as follows, "Oh isn't it terrible that young black men and women are killing other young black men and women?" Instead of, "Isn't it terrible that young PEOPLE are killing other YOUNG PEOPLE?" Why focus on a single race, unless you are trying to say, THIS RACE IS MORE IMPORTANT than other races. See, I get your point, where no one else is remotely close. Thanks for a brilliant question, and thanks to all the liberal lap-dogs who got this question wrong. UC Steve.

ALL violence should be stopped. Picking one race over another as a priority is ludicrous. To say that "black on black crime" is worse than "black on white", or "white on asian" crime, etc., does appear to be a racist statement to me.
