OH MY WORD!!! I've seen boys don't cry, and i don't usually cry at movies, but i was weeping at that one.. Hilary Swank blows my mind. She is such a fantastic actress. The one movie that makes me cry, and I don't mean small tears.. I mean heaving, bawling, hysterical sobbing is The Notebook. Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, Gena Rowlands and James Garner make up an incredible cast that will take your breath away. If you haven't seen it, watch it. If you don't cry, even the least little bit, then I will shave my head and send you a picture. peace.

Great question! Boys Don't Cry is a heart-rending account of human cruelty. I'd add my vote to Shadowlands (on loss), Schindler's List (on goodness & bravery), Midnight Cowboy (on male friendship) too. No-one has mentioned Spartacus ... the final scenes ... makes me well up just thinking about it now! Check out the Channel 4 website below for the top 100 tearjerkers as voted by the British public.

I agree with American Beauty, which is another one. But "Boys Don't Cry" is a very powerful, well made film. And yes, it will make you cry if you're not all hung up about letting your feelings show. There is a film called "Dream Child" which is about the life of the man who wrote Alice in Wonderland. I guarantee it will hold your interest, and possibly move you to tears, if you care about human nature. Another one is "The Dresser" with Albert Finney. My God, there are so many of them! But yes, on "Boys Don't Cry." Definitely yes on that one. Another one that got to me was "A Perfect Storm" about the sinking of the Andrea Gale far out to sea... what else? I'll bet you get some really good answers on this question of yours. Sent with good energies from Chris from South Portland, Maine, u,.S.A. (I am 63 years old.) Another heavyweight is "Under the Volcano" again, with Albert Finney... and if you want tears and a good scare along with them, Nicole Kidman in "The Others." Thanks for letting me add my two cents' worth. Best to you from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)

My 5.5 year previous daughter began that when her brother became a million and he or she wanted in spite of he wanted and each little thing became drama. I went out together with her to a activity keep and picked out distinctive colored marbles. Took certainly one of her brother's previous degree one jars (had stored some for odds and ends) and informed her she might get one if she prevented whining and crying whilst she have been given upset approximately something different than getting harm. before each little thing, we actively "caught her" being good and gave her a marble very often. Then we split it into morning and afternoon. whilst she filled the jar, she have been given something small she fairly wanted. whilst she have been given rather good at filling up her jar, we moved as much as a level 2 sized jar. And, we ultimately went to the completed day as she have been given somewhat older. we've a level 3 jar this is on it is way out. there is not any decide for for it and he or she has very nearly forgotten approximately it. The whining is at a minimum, and it fairly have been given her rear lead to line if we threatened to take a marble away if she fairly misbehaved. good luck!!

The one you're talking about, Million Dollar Baby, Monster, and a few others.
Of course I don't cry, I just gulp, blink a lot, and ask if anybody wants some popcorn.

The one movie that made me ball like a baby was "Awakenings" with Robin Williams and Robert De Niro. That's the only thing I got to say about that!! I have not seen the movie you mentioned. Sorry.
