I learned mermaids could play conch shells, and I've seen it been done, but I cant do it!! :( Please help!!!

Hi dear, contact me if you need to.
Look up how to blow a trumpet. You vibrate your lips in a very certain way. If someone you know knows how to use virtually any brass musical instrument (not wind), you can watch them.
It isn't easy with the conch, but it can be done. Just blowing doesn't work, you don't need holes, etc.
Oh, I've done it, as a kid.

You can't just pick up any conch shell of the beach. The conch must first be hollowed out and certain holes must be made in certain spaces to allow for the sounds to...make music. All those people you see in movies and on tv who play a conch shell to do whatever aren't really playing it and don't just have some regular old conch shell if they are.
