Number 1 was the best. You can't beat a classic. From Johnny Depp's swagger to Orlando Bloom's sword play to Keira Knightley's fainting fit, you just can't beat the original.
Not to say that Caribbean 2 was bad. A little dull at times, but a truly solid movie on it's own. For a sequel, it was superb. For a movie, it was great.
So, they were both fab. I can't wait for #3. But nothing will beat the original!!!

I liked #1 better because #2 leaves you hanging for #3 so much. #1 was conclusive, #2 wasn't.

1 was much better, 2 felt like you were paying for half a movie plus filler.

I like #2, because the characters are already developed, special effects were awesome, music was great, and I've seen the 1st one so many times I'm sick of it. :)

the first one was better. I didn't like the way the second one ended. but at least we know that there will be a third one.

the first for overall and plot, but definatley 2 for special effects
