I must admit yes, but during a state of war, ofcourse civilians are killed but Hezbollah it must be said is a guerilla miltant group that are the only reistance available against the aggresive actions and attrocities prepetrated by the Israelis. As such there millisles are very ineffective and have almost no coordination(they fire about 100 missiles daily right now, and only 4 mannage to actually hit inside an Israeli city), as such they have no manner upon which to specifically target military positions. Whereas the Israeli have top of the world intelligence through Mousad and precision and coodination millisle systems and airplanes that know exactly what they are hitting. And this is exactly the suspicion of world leaders that the 510 civilians that have died till now in Lebanon is incalculably high and almost unreasonable for a nation that has had vast experience in warfare, and has the top of the art missile coordination systems, which leads to the conclusion that the attack that killed 56 in Quna this Sunday and the other civilian infrastructure destruction and civilian casualities may not all be so acsidental as the Israeli army makes it seem. This 510 civilians killed in lebanon in comparison to 18 killed in Israel which is rather unbelievable and even proposterous that Israel is killing so many in supposed defense and vast and disproportionate reatalliation to a disorganized reistance as Hezbollah.

Yes. And if it were not for the bomb shelters in Israel and the number of people who moved south, there would be many more dead. It is not from a lack of trying on Hezbollah's part. They have lobbed hundreds (if not thousands) of rockets into Israel.
See the link below for the numbers of potential killing. They are trying their damnedest....they just aren't as accurate. They, also, haven't dispersed pamphlets warning people that they are going to do it, as the Israelis did, in an effort to save civilian lives.

Depends on who and how one defines innocent. Sounds like a Clinton answer. Since Hezbollah feels every Jew is neither an innocent nor a civilian, therefore, their answer would be NO.

Since Hezbollah co-mingles with innocent civilians does it surprise me they die as well - NO. As one person said if one sleeps with dogs don't be surprised if you wake up with flees.

Well that is hard to say. Many people in the middle east are crazy and radical, but i suppose that some innocent children have been killed. However, this is just part of war. many people get killed that do not deserve it. Hezbollah is kinda crazy itself. This is just a difficult situation.

Probably not because the Israel Army does not hide behind women and children. They do not herd people into ammunition warehouses and block the doors to await the bombs of the enemy and then cry at the deaths ,while making points in the pictures. The Israel Army does not store weapons in schools. When you blow up civilians with bombs strapped to your body ,or drive a truck laden with bombs into a crowed market place ,that's when you intentionally kill innocent people.Israel does not do that.

Oh gee, that's a tricky one! What do you THINK? If the US Army or the NYPD could be guilty of hurting or killing innocent people at times, I'm sure Hezbollah doesn't have any reservations about it!

Well lets start with our Marine peacekeeping unit in Lebanon. Killed by a suicide bombing truck--241 in that one. And they were NOT armed to fight they were sleeping!! They bombs they are dropping on Israel that has been killing Innocent civilians as mush as the Israelis have. They are terrorists who will if they defeat Israel( I don't think they will) be after us next.

Yes, a fair few.

Not as many as Israel, but I don't think it's entirely fair to judge who is more to blame based on number of deaths. Nevertheless it's clear that Israel is not responsible enough to be given the amount of funding it receives.

The "If Americans Knew" link above is a good one for facts & figures, although it's only a guideline since it deals with Palestine and not Lebanon.

I don't think Hezbollah has TARGETED innocent civilians but they may have inadvertently killed a few.

I do not know, but I admit it would be difficult to avoid such by shooting rockets to Israel; and maybe also during some previous collisions, like in1996:

"The Israeli invasion of 1982 provided the catalyst for Shiite radicalism. Hizbullah emerged with the aim of expelling the occupants and alleviating the social sufferings of the Shia community.

In the early days, Hizbullah gained much notoriety through the kidnappings of several westerners by one of its fringe groups. But what caused most political consternation were the quite spectacular actions against various foreign occupants by its predecessors. The bombing of the barracks of the US Marines and French headquarters in 1983 killed 300 soldiers of the Multinational Force that by then had lost its semblance of neutrality of intervention in the punishing Israeli siege and occupation of West Beirut. That humiliation led the US to lose its nerve in trying to police the conflict which no longer was restricted to an Israeli - Palestinian matter, with force. The subsequent bombing of the "Israeli Defence Forces" headquarters in Tyre with 75 soldiers lost took its toll on Israeli resolve and led to it's retreat to the present occupation zone in the south. The present activities of the resistance in southern Lebanon continue to try both morale and staying-will of the Israeli occupation whose losses in 1997 alone were 35 men. What is not commonly understood abroad is that the aim of the resistance in southern Lebanon is not military activity against northern Israel as carried on by the Palestinian guerillas of the 70's and early 80's, but the liberation of occupied Lebanon."
