Clearly the Eagles had problems that had nothing to do with T.O. He's not responsbile for Donovan McNabb getting injured. He's not responsible for the defense giving up plays and he's not responsible for the inept running game.
But he did divide the locker room. The fact a lot of Eagles players had his back proves my point. If the team is bickering over who said what and who's not getting the ball, then that means they're not focusing enough on the ultimate goal of winning.
I'm not saying T.O. singlehandedly destroyed the Eagles season, but he did single handedly create a situation where the team could not come together and conquer the above mentioned adversity.

No! Owens need to learn how act as a human being you should not go out and talk about the Phildelphia eagles the way he did he should of shown the McNabb and the eagles some respect and the coach as well he should not of made a fool of his self because he kept other players from being the kind of players they could of been last year that's one reason why he out of the Eagles I hope that the dallas cowboys can deal with him because he just needs to do one thing and thats be a better person in the nfl dont make other players feel bad.

Unfortunately, there is no real way to discover what makes him tick. But lets say he is very sane, and by all accounts, he seems very bright, he is doing a great thing for himself in every way.
No matter who's on his side or not, in the BIG picture of his career, he know only these very important points: 1) his value 2) his PR damage value (meaning at this point, he is already known for as a proposed "clown", so there is no "surprise" factor when a team rents him. Which the Cowboys know and expect. And 3) his "play" reputation. He has a "hired gun" marketability to him and he knows it. He's using this to his advantage.
He is not a victim. He is turning the NFL to his advantage and we sholuld applaud him for that because if the NFL wants to play with fire, I'm sure their marketing and PR departments know exactly what's going on.
T.O. knows this is a win-win situation.
Bottom line, whether they all know it all not, the teams, the NFL, and T.O. are sewn in football marketing harmony. This will be for a long, long time.
This is unless T.O. kills someone. This would of course terminate this happy family....hehehe
Cheers!

Dude! You kiddin me? I am true Eagles fan. Even if I hated the birds I will still throw blame on TO. No doubt. Yes, the Birds knew what they were getting but not to the extent it went. I mean McNabb was being McNabb nothing more. TO called him out. And for the players that supported him?? There were none. I mean for God's sake he got into a fight with one of the former players (Hugh Douglas). When the press was asking them questions they were responding either neutral or condeming his actions. The guy is a grown man and two teams he has been on he had "issues" with. I think THAT signifies issue with TO himself not with the teams he had issues with. Think of it this way.....he is going to work and causing headaches then hey fire him. You're gonna tell me the entire staff of the workplace is wrong ?? Not to mention two different employers?? No way.

Who lobbied for T.O. to go to Philly? McNabb. I think McNabb knew that Owens was going to be an attention hog but he also knew what a great talent he could be. Owens is a little crybaby that can only be useful if he keeps his mouth shut. I think that he'll flourish in Dallas because Parcells will slap him silly if he doesn't behave.

How can U blame T.O. for everythign that happend. T. O. Led the Eagles to the Super Bowll They didn't have a reason for the lack of passes he got in the super bowl. He screwed up the franchize all because of after all the hard work he put in.

No one in the Eagles organization has blamed him for everything. They hold him responsible for his selfishness, not McNabb's injury, McDougall getting shot, McMahon for playing so poorly. No matter how anyone paints the situation, T.O. isn't that good.

There will always be "something more to it," in every conflict between anybody. TO has his side of it, just as every sports flake like Mike Tyson has "his side of it" too.
But that said, there are those who bring something extra to a team, who strengthen it and make it better just by being there (a Joe Montana, a Jerome Bettis, a Brett Farve, a Walter Payton) and those who automatically weaken a team, who make its flaws and weaknesses worse and fracture its spirit - THAT is a Terrel Owens. That will ALWAYS BE Terrel Owens. Just wait and see what happens in Dallas.

Yes I do. I guess some of the people reading your question
don't really follow football and just have an opinion.
what set him off is that he is one of the top five in his position,
and he was being paid less then his worth. He was asked if philly had a diff QB,did he think they could win? and he answered yes.
thats what pissed Mc Nabb off.and to be honest,he did suck
that season....
Sorry hoopz25,football is not about not hurting feelings,it's about
winning,it's about the fan's,it's about the ring......
