This question causes memories to become as vivid as the clearness of the day. But with that said, being over twenty and a virgin in today's society is something to be proud of. Never be ashamed of doing the right thing.

To all girls who are concerned that being 20 and still a virgin let me say this to them.... YOU ARE ONLY RESPECTED FOR THAT !!! Just because I have not been able to persuade you to go to bed with me means that you are a decent girl and told me to get stuffed. Marrying a girl who is still a virgin is a WOW to me !! But NOT being a virgin does NOT mean anything negative either !!! Normally it is the fault of the guy... ie. a girl gave him evertything out of trust and love for him and then the relationship did not work out !!! VIRGINITY FOR ME MEANS NOTHING !!! Being a virgin means you have said no... GOOD FOR YOU ! Not being a virgin means a girl has said yes to someone she loved and circumstancs then let her down. Either way... what the hell does virginity or lack of it mean ?

NO!!!
I grew up in the 70's and nearly all of the girls I knew slept around. They were great "party girls" as we'd all end up "doing it". Later I realized I wanted a girl that had enough sense and foresight to do the right thing and honor herself. I know that sounds hypocritical having done it myself, but sometimes you only realize these things as you get older and have a more clear outlook.

I think it's hard to find someone who's over 20 and still a virgin. Those people are very strong people by nature...They are determinant and know excatly what they want. No, it is not shameful. And I think it's HOT. =P

Religious and moral reasons aside, in this day and age it is ESSENTIAL to trust your partner completely. I thought I was safe being married, but still got an STD from my husband. PROTECT YOURSELF!

Why is it even anyone else's business? Are you walking around with a sign that spells all that out? You are virtuous. What's terrible about that?

NO! Gurl, don't worry. You don't wanna be like all the other hoes and lose your virginity at 13. You're probably just waiting for the right one.

It's far more shameful to be 15 and knocked up!

Kudos to you! I have alot of respect for people who wait, male or female.
