Anyone know about this toy watch? It is still on the 10 cent card held in place by the still elastic band and was purhased in 1964? Main question: Hold on or throw away? The card reads as follows. WinWood ~~~It's W & W quality-------------10 cents...Made in America
* The toy watch with the hands that REALLY move *

Keep or donate to charity, but don't throw it away!

Check eBay for a similar item.

Go to an antique dealer in your area and ask him for his opinion.

It must have some value. It's over 40 years old, especially if it's on its original card and still works. Wow!

I'd love to see a photo of it.

I'm wondering the same thing about a Winwood toy watch I recently bought on eBay. I had one just like it as a child in the 1950's, but I suspect this one is a modern replica being passed off as an authentic vintage piece. The elastic band seems too new. I'm wondering about the legality of reproducing something that states in its packaging that it was Made in America (as I am sure the real ones were). Certainly if these are modern reproductions marketed to nostalgic Baby Boomers, they are manufactured abroad (I would guess China). Perhaps there is a loophole whereby they are packaged as multiple toys in a display box marked with the correct country of origin. As for mine, since it is very, very like the one(s) I had as a child, I might just keep it as a memento rather than bothering to return it based on my suspicions.
