Meh, it isn't too bad. I had both done horizontally first. My only suggestion is that if you plan on getting them both done, have them done in tandem (two piercers piercing at the same time).
The afterpain was similar to what I have felt when I have had hard nipples for a long time. Brushing against things gives you a bit of a start and hugging people is different. But all in all, I didn't really think that any part (the piercing or the healing) was particularly painful. Mostly just different.
good luck.

Yes it hurts very much bad! In fact it hurts so bad that if you are going to have them both done, you need to have them do them at the same time. Be cause if you dont, you will only get one pierced. Don't let anyone tell you that it doesn't hurt because it does.

Yes, it is a very sensitive area. As with all piercing you have to turn the piercing 3 times a day to make sure the hole stays and you have to disinfect it often to keep the area from becoming infected. It can take up to 6 months to heal fully depending on the person.

Yes, it will hurt for at least a week after - it is quite a deep piercing, and will take a few weeks to heal. You will want to be careful of the shirts you wear afterward - make sure they don't have pockets/seams in that area, or it may get caught on the jewellery and aggrevate it. If you want to learn more, try www.bme.com they have everything you ever wanted to know about piercings/tattoos.

It feels like you're getting licked by a million puppies. What do you think? They're going to push a needle through your nipple! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to connect the dots between a needle piercing the skin and pain.

I had a friend who got both of hers done in one sitting, and she had to cut out the front cup in one of her old bras to wear for like a week afterward, but she took lots of motrin and they healed up pretty fast. She said they were tender for a while - like ten days to two weeks, but they only hurt really badly for the first two or three days afterward.

well, if your a guy it hurts more. if your a female it hurts less.
when they first do it it feels like a bad pinch, the pain is over in a couple seconds though. for the rest of the day it kinda hurts to move but when you wake up it will all be better :) and you should clean it, clean is good :)

of course it does, it will hurt for like three weeks, but it's the whole allure of piercing, piercing was ORIGINALLY not intended to be a FASHION statement, it was done because people like pain as a big turn on

im sure it hurts since nipples are very sensitive- and the risk of getting an infection onthem is pretty high unless you take very good care of them. I really wouldnt recommend it.
