ADD and ADHD are often noticed by other people first. If your friends are serious then you may want to look into it further. If you have been struggling through life that could be an indication. There is an on-line evaluation here: https://amenclinics.com/ac/tests/ . I recommend taking on your own, and also having a parent and a friends take it for you giving their opinion of what your answers should be because people tend to see themselves the way they want to instead of how they are actually perceived.
If after doing this you think you need additional help there are resources at the site I got this information from below. In order to get a prescription you will likely need to get diagnosed by a psychologist(Does the research, doesn't prescribe Medication). I would recommend calling a psychiatrist (Doctor who can supply medication) who treats ADHD and request information on getting tested this way after you get tested you can be sure you've got a doctor who will accept the results as valid and be able to treat you properly.

Friends can't diagnose you lol. Go see a doctor if you think they may be right. If you can't keep your focus and are all over the place then they might be right.
