When Al-Qaeda attacked US, Bush wanted to build democracy in Iraq. Why is it so diffcult to simply destroy Al-Qaeda ?

When Israel is killing innocent children, women, and UN peace-keeping personnel in Lebanon, Bush wanted to build "sustainable peace" in Lebanon. Why is it so difficult to simply demand an immediate cease-fire?

I see so much more than a behavioral problem in Bush. He's so far removed from reality it's unimaginable. The rest of his administration is just as delusional as he is.

About your point on Al-Qaeda - one has to wonder why they are not a priority. Isn't it convenient that they put out a tape every now and then to bolster support for Bush and his agenda? I think of them as the villain in a comic book. He can't kill them because they are his nemesis. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't created for just that reason. And for those people who think that's a crazy thing to say - please help me to understand why they are and were not a priority.

The world is simply not that simple. This is not a war against a country but against people (Al-Qaeda) around the world who share a religious belief system that wants to make everyone else dead.

You think Israel is the killer of innocents. Lebanon targets Israeli civilians removed from military sites. Lebanon locates military operations in the middle of their own civilian population to increase collateral damage and engage our own media to promote their side.

Anybody can demand an immediate cease-fire. That is only effective if it is enforceable. At this point it is not. The UN is an impotent (and corrupt) institution that can/will do nothing.

The only behavioral problem I see with Bush and the rest of the US at this moment is not withdrawing from th UN and stopping our sending it US tax dollars for which we would have better use.

Because the masters who pull his strings wanted him to drag feet until Lebanon got the fire bombed out of them; they really hoped that Syria and Iran would jump in too, giving us an excuse to step up military operations in the Middle East. You haven't heard many people saying 'bring our troops home' as there were a month ago.
I honestly don't think Bush expected this backlash, he is too vain and his toadies make sure he stays that way while Rove, Cheney and the world conglomerates run the show.

If you compare a video of Bush 10 years ago politicking in Texas, with the present, you see tremendous deterioration in his cognitive and speaking abilities. I think he's losing it!

Condoweezie went there with too little and too late, hopefully the UN can broker some kind of truce.

For the lady above; all of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq, not Lebanon, not Hezbollah. Bush has a close relationship with the ruler of Saudi Arabia. Didn't you see him holding hands with him in Crawford, TX ? The oil companies are making record profits on Saudi oil right now. $80 million a day!

Bush is not running the war there..
Bush is doing a great job keeping things as close to an even level as he can.
People like you talking about killing children, women etc should take a look at what really happened.. Who started the killing stupid.. Who is letting the terrorist stay in their country there ??
It is not Israel. Lebanon is letting the terrorist stay in their country.
Iran is trying for an Atomic Bomb.. What would you do if you were living in Israel ???? I think that Iran is going to try to blow the whole thing up. Another thing, in war, there are " no Innocent women and children.. They are called the Calsualities of War.
How many Women and Children were killed in the 9/11 attack ?
Did you run off the head about that being unfair ??

To Bush-hating, liberal Democrats, of course he has a behavioral problem. And to anti-semitic, Hezbollah lovers...of course they should immediately call for a cease fire. How dare those bad Israelis kill more innocent children, women, and UN peace-keeping personnel than the good terrorists.

All too authentic. whether this is a convenience in any respect, the approval of congress is or became a minimum of even decrease then George W. Bush so we weren't completely blind to the situation. For a on an identical time because it became form of a mutual situation. A president can veto undesirable legislations and Bush infrequently ever did. He became a stamp for congress basically as they have been for him. The villain of the piece became the GOP that blanketed the two Bush and maximum folk of congress for the time of his words. we've a distinctive congress now with distinctive issues and there is rationalization for doubt that this one is any further clever then the previous one yet a minimum of they are distinctive. As suggested above he made a great scapegoat. he's to blame of many of the flaws we blame on him yet he never acted on my own and Congress stocks his guilt whether we infrequently properly known the fact.

let's get one thing straight: Iraq did not have anything to do w/ 9-11. got it, people? can we quit perpetuating this myth? I know it's more convenient to blame Iraq because we can't track down the guy who was really responsible, but it simply ain't true. Perhaps because the U.S. started a war on a pretense (wmds, also a myth) we carry less clout in the region and nobody gives a rat's *** about our position, and in fact abhor anything we might bring to the table.

And what do you think Israel would do if he demanded a cease fire? Just stop, and Hezbollah would just stop as well. You need to get your head out of your butt. You have no idea what to do either, you name calling and not giving any actually use full info.
