Hi, I'm a doctor. There are NO home medications that are known to control high blood pressure, so don't even try them! If you have high blood pressure in pregnancy it is something that your gynecologist should be aware of and treat! There is a condition called preeclampsia in which you develop high blood pressure DURING pregnancy and then it goes back to normal when you deliver your baby. You could also have had high blood pressure BEFORE pregnancy.
Preeclampsia must be closely monitored by your obstetrician, because in many cases it will require to deliver the baby sooner, otherwise you could end up getting seizures from the high blood pressure, so it's very important to inform your doctor.
There are many medications used specifically for high blood pressure in pregnancy, because many medications that are used regularly for high blood pressure are harmful to your baby.
In summary, go to your doctor and ask. Hope this brief information helps you to make a better decision. There are very few medications and substances that will not affect your baby, so ALWAYS ask your doctor (not here, as someone else said).

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Visit a local WalMart: by the pharmacy you can check your BP for free. Accepted 'normal' is 140/80 or lower. If your reading is a lot higher, you'll need a doctor (see below). You can try natural supplements (healthstore items) for 30 days if you're not too high-numbered: Ask them or a pharmacist for help. If you have headaches, 'pounding', dizziness: your BP is too high to fool with. See an Internal Medicine Doctor. You'll feel better in 2-4 weeks; but you MUST stay on the medicine to keep the BP lowered. If you're a heavyweight; LOOSE WEIGHT, too! Good luck! :)

Depending on where you live and buy your products see if there is a natures sunshine health person in your area. I lived in IN and I went to a lady in Ohio and 1 in IN and they both had 20 some plus yrs of natural health and I went to them for everything. When I was really using the herbs I became a distributor because I got a discount for buying them and then anything over I think its 100.00 or 150.00 you get paid a percentage.
Good Luck

A pregnant woman must be careful in her intake to ensure normal birth of child and delivery. I suggest that you consult your obstet-gynecologist for a better advice.

you would probably need to be more clear. if it's all natural then it would probably be ok. when you're pregnant always ask your doctor before taking something your not sure about.
