Why dont you consult a doctor?

It could be caused by acid reflux. Has your doctor checked for that? You might just want to try one of the over the counter acid reducers to see if that will help.

Do you have acid reflux? Try taking a tablespoon of vinegar in a glass of water, repeat if necessary. You can also take baking soda in some water, but I prefer the vinegar - it's good for you.

It could very well be stress.

Now, my husband has a very similar problem. Try guava juice or papaya enzyme tablets: Those are available at some nutrition stores and they do seem to work.

Also, have you been to a doctor that actually specializes in digestive tract problems? I know you said you've been to a doctor- but they tend to develop 'tunnel vision' and see things only in terms of their own specialty.
