well i dont think thats the case, but id have to say that if either spouse has friends that are destructive to the marriage in any way shape or form then they do need to be put aside.. marriage is hard enough with out friends that arent supportive of your marriage, if they want u to act like your single.. well ur not anymore and thats only asking for trouble.. that goes for women and men.. so if your friends arent bad influences.. and are very respectful to u being married, then theres no reason why u have to give up your friends at all..

Says who, your girlfriend? Tell her you will have your friends and if she doesn't like it , leave. If you let her tell you what you can do now, it will only get worse down the road. You may not see them as much with a relationship, but that's no reason to have to give them up.

It's not supposed to be that way. You are with a selfish girl, get out now while you still can.

When I got married all of my friends abandoned me, it is a selfishness thing. I think all people need friends whether or not they are in a relationship.Possessiveness is not a pretty thing and can become dangerous.

Who told you its supposed to be this way? You got your facts mixed up. Usually the men try to be in control and try to get the women to give up her life for HIM. Both should have equality if you ask me

It's called training the spouse to be. She doesn't want you to keep your old bad habits. She wants to change you the way she wants you to be and that means you getting rid of your friends.

You're with the wrong girl. I'd go crazy if my husband did not have his own group of friends. Normal people need their own space.

hes not...hes just supposed to care about her and not be 2faced. (around his friends telling a gurl shes nothing. and when they are alone be all "baby i love you") and they defend her if their friends are dissing. see most gurl's friends support a relationship where guys find it lame and unmanly
