Puerto Rico "shod" be a state. They are sucking up more welfare money from the US than most states and paying no taxes to the US.

Yes. Puerto Rico is practically a state already. I wish it would happen already. There are other commonwealths including US areas like Washington DC and NYC that have been considered for statehood.

your government is NOT helping Puerto Rico thye have been treating them poorly for years and years. I should be its own country but is too poor. I don't think th US will allow it to become a state it would have too many right then.

Yes. It is ridiculous for the Federal government to continue sending our tax dollars to support the infrastructure there when they don't even pay Federal taxes. As a state they would have to pay up, and of course they would be able to vote.
