I wanna buy a new 42 inch plasma tv here in the next 2-3 days. What features should I look for? Any brands in perticular? I am willing to pay up to $2500. Any advice?

Don't. They break down a lot and don't last long. Do some serious research before you spend your money on something that's going to keep on costing.

From what ive heard, the plasma burn in element has been eliminated lots yet, id recommend an liquid crystal reveal. the photo merely seems a lot sharper. optimistic you get deeper hues on plasmas yet with some differences, the liquid crystal reveal will be searching tremendous rapidly.

I'd avoid plasma, unless you are absolutely set on them. LCD has been a better performer in the long run. Plasmas have been only lasting a few years

Make Sure it is HD and if you are getting the digital signals over the air look for "built in". You will have then have to add an antenna.
