If you like the car and get a good deal, why not? If the car fits your needs doesn't really matter if it is going to be discontinued or not.

if you are looking to buy a new RSX,the price won't go down much. Because they know it will be in high demand b/c of it being discontinued. The best deals would be on the lease turn in cars. So a couple of months or 2 years would be good.

If you are interested in a new RSX, you need to buy now....These cars are in high demand and limited quantity..If you wait, there may be nothing left...The price will not go down but rather it could increase as demand gets short....Your best deal will come before the supply gets too low....These cars are going quickly! Now is the time to act...

Don't rush if you dont have to. Acura never really discounts their cars. Next year, they are just making a 2-door version of the TSX, which is basically the RSX.

You might start checking with carsdirect.com. Last fall, I bought a 2005 Honda Accord through them. It was the end of the model year, so dealers were clearing them out. What I really like about carsdirect is that they give you a firm (in my case under invoice) price. I probably could have gotten a better price if I wanted to haggle with a dealer, but that would not be a fair fight. I was happy with the price and had everything settled in two days.

This is pretty much the "end of the year" in terms of automobile cycle. Most companies are running summer clearance events. If you wait until the calendar end-of-year, then you have less choice of options, colors, etc.
RSX are sitting on lots, they're not selling out any time soon. You can easily get for $500 above invoice.

The longer you wait, the better deal you can get. However, the choices of color and features you would like will diminish as the remaining inventory is depleted. You need to decide what is more important to you.
