When I ask about it he says its nothing. Some people told me to leave it alone but others said it could be that he's more interested in me than just a friend. What do you think?

Yep he is interested in you and maybe it is something you said that made him think he had no chance or that got him angry for some reason.
People always say things without thinking first and remember we are all different human beings and we feel different stuff and sometimes nobody tries to be hurtful or anything but there are people who misunderstand.
Maybe that's what happened with your friend and talk to him take him somewhere where the wçtwo of you will have privacy and talk to him tell him it's serious that you really need him to tell you what's wrong and tell him how you feel. Everythng will be solved I hope...

Well if he loves/likes you then he surely shouldn't stop talking to ya, tell him if were good of friends as I think we are then you meaning him should be able to share anything w/ ya!! if he does feel deeper about the relationship he could be scared to ruin a good thing but maybe u guys feel the same you sometime never know w/ guys show no emotion hard to read but anyway good luck

It could be that something has come up in his life and he's dealing with it and isn't able to interact much with friends as a result. Are you sure it's just you? If yes, then it's quite possible he likes you as more than a friend.

in highschool a boy and a female could be suitable friends yet continuously someplace down the line emotions are there. i wouldnt be suprised if he enjoyed you. u would desire to seek advice from him and tell im u enjoyed him i wouldnt be suprised if he instructed you an identical emotions have been there yet he didnt comprehend the thank you to act on them. tell him u want to get decrease back to speaking each and all of the time. merely be honeest and hear on your heart. solid success

maybe he has a new girlfriend and she doesn't want him to be friends with you any more. He just doesn't have the heart to tell you, just a thought .
