I was pre-med and got my degree as a biology major
(actually double majored in English & biology - not recommended). Your college/university should have a pre-professional advisor who can better guide you depending on what actual career you are leaning to.

Any science major would do: Chemistry/biochemistry, biology, etc. Some pre-meds are also in Pharmacy, Mathematics.
