I had a MC and DnC in April I am 5 weeks pregnant now do i have a good chance of carrying this baby to term?

You have the same chance that you had before. A MC is not an indicator of anything except that something was wrong with that fetus. I had a MC and then carried a daughter to term.....9lbs. 9 ozs!!!!! Keep healthy, take your vitamins and eat right. Get rest when you need to. Just listen to your body. It will tell you what you need to do.

I had a m/c and d&c in July last year and 1 month ago delivered a beautiful baby boy. There's no telling what causes most m/c, but unless it was attributed to incompetent cervix or you've had multiple m/c, most sources say you've got a fine chance of carrying baby to term this time.

Taking your vitamins - great idea, but my I also suggest you go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pamsupport/ and join? There's a lot of emotional stuff you're going to go through, both now and after the baby comes - it helps to talk & everyone on this list has been very supportive & helpful.

Unless there was some specific reason for the miscarriage that has not been fixed (such as poor hormone levels), then there is no reason why you should not carry this baby to term. I had five miscarriages and as soon as the hormone level was discovered and medication was given, I had a beautiful baby. Good luck and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes there is a good chance you will carry this baby to full term just be careful the first 3 months are the most critical. Try not to overdo things and clean with stong cleaners, have someone help you around the house..Take it easy! good luck

yes i think that you will be able to carry your little angel the rest of the term just try not to put too much stress on your self, try to relax as much as you can, and avoid doing anything that requires you to lift heavy objects. because as soon as your little angel gets here you gonna wish that you got those little extra minutes of sleep.! :)
