don't drive, walk
or if you don't like that one
don't heat or cool your house
or if you would rather be a supply sider, buy land and make sure it is densely planted with photosynthetic aggressors
what I do about it right now is what I am doing right now. I tell people that there are way way better things to put your time, energy, and money in than global warming mitigation
help people in your area
fight poverty
go mow a little ole ladies yard
global warming is a problem that may or may not happen and if it does, it will help some people and hurt others, it will help some plant and animal species and hurt others.
it is not a certain catastrophe
giving that little spiel is what I can do about global warming right now

unplug the unused appliances
get florescent bulbs
use a car as less as possible
read more books (it will keep your mind away from TV, video games etc.)
recycle and use recycled things
try not to use plug-in thing so much.
hope I helped, and yes, it's more than one thing but the major problem with global warming is CARBON DIOXIDE! Even thing that are off but plugged in are still producing carbon dioxide!
YOU can make a difference!

Instead of flying or driving, try taking a train.
Trains are remarkably efficient, even if they are disel burning engines, they produce far fewer emissions than flying or driving.
Also trains take you into the heart of a city usually, so you don't need to hire a polluting car to drive you from the airport to the city.
Subway's, light rails and buses help prevent global warming as well.

Though many people say things like driving less, reducing energy consumption, etc. will make a difference, I myself remain rather pessimistic that there is much the average person can do. The big burden lies with the major polluting industries, and now that we're beginning to realize this, it's probably already too late to do much about it.

Replace the incandescent light bulbs with fluorescent bulbs which use less electricity for the same light and last years longer. Recycle bottles, paper, and metal.
Walk instead of drive.
