If you want it enough you'll do it. Try and network and find some friends who have friends somewhere warm, so at least you'll have someone to contact there when you get there.

New England is a wonderful place. I lived there for 7 years and found the cool summers and cold winters great. Much better than the 107 degree summers I am getting now. If you need heat, go to the beach. They have some great public beaches, but unfortunately you can't afford to live on the beach all the time.

Knowledge is power, and what you need to do will make the journey a less scary one:
Start by finding areas that you might be interested in (avoid s. GA it's 105F with 100% humidity & no rain). Check year round temperatures, cost of living, etc.
What do you do for a living? Find a job wherever you decide you want to move to, and (at least temporary) housing.
Save up so you have cash on hand for the transitionary period.
If you don't need it, sell it.
Load up the ride with whatever you didn't sale, and feel good about the choice you've made!
GOOD LUCK!

If u write out a detailed plan, expenses and everything, and have the main areas covered like, place to stay, new job, money, & then just do it, once i moved to england, after 3 weeks everything felt like normal/ routine.
U could also focus on the fact that it u didnt do it that u will always regret it and wonder what if.

Please dont move! I was born and raised in the northeast, and moved to a deep southern state when I got married, and have always regretted it. Oh how I miss the beautiful change of the seasons,it totally rejuvenates a person! When you know what it is like to wake up to snow covered landscape, you so miss that feeling. I have lived here for 25 years but have never felt at home.

A friend of mine told me recently, "You just DO IT!" You know what you want to do, and now all you have to do is put it in motion. If you are serious about it , you can do this!

Courage comes from "WITHIN"....same as kindness. If "YOU" don't develop these qualities within yourself,... for yourself....who will?
