Have him pick up a "Reader" newspaper. It's free and usually at the door's of some restaurants. I know "Leona's" restaurants usually have them at the door. He just has to walk in the door and grab one. They have lots of 'help wanted' ads in there. Have him go through the Yellow Pages under 'Delivery Services" and start making phone calls. Have him stop in local stores...Walgreens, CVS, Dominick's ....talk to a Manager and ask what local delivery companies deliver to them. Have him contact those local delivery companies.

Also have him contact Public Aid so he can get some assitance with food and medical. He can also ask them about delivery jobs there.

I wish your Dad good luck, Sweetie.

pizza

UPS

Federal Express

Best Buy or any major appliance store that delivers things to the consumer.

Most places just walk in and ask if they need a delivery person. You don't need an add in the paper to find a job opening. Most jobs don't get posted because it's a word of mouth.

Good Luck to your dad.

all of the above answers were good but they left out one major thing . Have dad post signs in the super market and run a small ad in the business services of your local newspaper stating man for delivery in the local area and he can sharge them accordingly and make all the money himself . He must have experience so he might be good at it and he can work as long and hard as he wants or set more leisurely hours !!!!!!!
