Describe your experience and if you recommend trying it...

I believe that no one can tell another person what they can or can not, should or should not put into their bodies. I believe that some recreational drugs can be used in positive ways, and with little harm to the user, provided that the person takes into consideration several things before trying a substance. LSD is one substance that requires careful thought before usage, but if approached correctly, can be a positive, rewarding experience.

If you are thinking about trying LSD, you should educate yourself. One other person recommended the vaults of Erowid at www.erowid.org
and that is an excellent suggestion. The site is a wealth of information about substances of all kinds, and peoples experiences with them, good and bad.

When taking any drug, you should also consider your mindset ... what frame of mind are you in? If you are in relatively good mental health, stable, feeling good, positive, healthy, well, and happy, chances are you will do well. If you are feeling depressed, negative, frightened, freaked out, or stressed, those emotions may overlay your experience and overwhelm you. Best not to risk it. Always consider what could be the worst case scenario and thnk about whether you would be well equipped to deal with it. An LSD trip can last 8-10 hours, so a bad trip can be a long one!

Lastly, you should always consider the setting you'll take your drugs in. Is it safe, with friends you trust, with pleasant surroundings, music, comfort, food, drinks, etc.. Will you have to drive or need transportation somewhere? If you're going to trip on LSD, you'll want to be situated somewhere safe and plan to stay there for the duration of your trip. Traveling is not recommended, and driving is out of the question. Be with friends you care about, and who can reassure you that everything is ok. Tripping with friends can be a beautiful, rich and very loving experience!

I hope these comments help. Always trust your own instincts, and if it feels wrong, don't forge ahead. Your guts don't lie to you, but your head sometimes does. People have been using substances to alter their consciousness for millennia, and LSD is simply one more chemical in god's magic bag of tricks that can bring us closer to understanding some of the secrets of this beautiful universe we share.

Yes, over 100 times.
Every one of them was intense. I learned to avoid doing acid in urban areas, as the noise and pollution can be horrific. In a natural area (such as out in the woods camping or hanging out in a cabin with friends), it's a lot safer.
Music has awesome power when tripping. Pick the music carefully - Black Sabbath could give you some really nasty visions (even the Stones are bad enough).
Do Not ! watch TV when tripping, or movies.
You may find yourself curious about having sex with strangers. Be safe.
Don't handle any kind of machinery more complex or dangerous than a stereo.
Avoid mixing it with other drugs. The results can be very unpredictable, and frightening.
People are easily panicked when tripping. You need to be around at least one or two friends who aren't tripping but who know that you are. A panicking person can be easily fooled into calming down by someone who knows what she's doing, but panicking remains the greatest danger. Once when panicking I ran outside naked and charged into a chain-link fence on a highway embankment.
Many people have a strong desire to get naked when tripping. This can cause problems if you're at the mall.
LSD is a chemical relative of psyilocybin and mescalin, which are used by members of the Native American Church for spiritual and religious rituals. Some people say it is an abuse of LSD to use it for any other purpose.
There is a copious literature about shamanism and the psychedelic experience that is well worth reading before you ever take the stuff.
Be prepared to see demons and angels.
A loving dog with you would be a great comfort, as would be a loving cat.
Finally, all the hallucinogens dissolve your ego. Your ego is the part of your mind that makes choices about things, evaluates courses of action, judges about whether something is good or bad, etc. When tripping the Id takes over. This is like riding a wild horse. Fun, but you can break your neck. The Id is very ill suited to living in a world of rules. The more you live as the Id, the less you will like living in the world of adults. This can cause you serious psychological and legal problems.
Using acid more than 4 times a year is too dangerous.

yes. It was a great experience. If you have never taken any type of hallucinogen before, you might want to try mushrooms first. I'm hardly an expert, but the times I did it I had very positive experiences. Once I took 5 hits and the night seemed to be a week long. I swear that I got up and lived through a whole day seven times. I also "saw" things that I swore were real and later found out weren't. I can still remember being at a friend's house and swearing that there were plastic sheets which somehow served to clean the air, even when he told me there was nothing there. It was one of the most fascinating experiences of my life.

If you do it, you just need to make sure that you are comfortable doing it and around people that you genuinely and completely like. Also READ UP ABOUT IT ONLINE, seeing how people have felt about it. As long as you are of a reasonably sound state of mind and around people you trust, it should be an awesome experience. Also don't listen to anybody that has either never done it or is not an expert on it. There are probably more urban myths surrounding this drug than any other. And generally people recite "facts" about taboo practices when they really have no clue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_urban_legends#Urban_Legends_about_LSD

I hope that if you do it you will have anything close to the amazing experiences I have had with it. Its not going to rot your brain, make you go crazy, or kill you. You probably put yourself at greater risk drinking alcohol than you do by tripping. I've done it and will do it again, and I am about to go to graduate school. A lot of the major 20th century philosophers tried it. Michel Foucault called it the greatest experience of his life.

once i was still tripping a day later, after sleeping and waking up again. i thought i was permafried and started freaking because i had school stuff to do for later on that week. i finally came down later on that day.... good $h1t, but at the time i just didn't know how good. i only did one tab too.

personally i prefer shrooms and mda... or pcp (which i wouldn't recommend, at least alot)

i think everyone should try acid, at least once.

every trip is totally different it distorts your perceptions of things some people might see musical notes coming out of CD players some people might look down at a blue carpet and think its an ocean or you could see funny colored shapes on a persons face its different for everyone but remember not all trips are good and if you have a bad one the only thing to do is ride it out and have a good friend with you to talk you down

being inside of a room of broken glass, with little shards poking and stabbing me bloodshot eyes, saw a sky so black it was blue and the music came from within me and went without me,my heart pounded so that i could see the blood flow in my eyes with each heartbeat, the sounds i heard were beyond anything and everything that u could even begin to understand, watched a girl hang herself using her own hair and when the eyes bulged out and blood did foam from the corner of her mouth this all happened in slow motion and lasted for hours and that is only part of the experience, wouldn't recommend it for anyone

Yes I did and I can tell you a good deal of things about it, but not on line. However, the sort of things I would be able to say about it will depend on the quality of the questions you might ask: think about what you want to ask before asking.

One of my long time friends tried it. He's dead now because he drowned during an LSD trip. Why would you want to take chances with your life?

Look at some of the experience on erowid.org. Its the hardest chemical to synthesize, so its mostly fake.
