Why r people so when i tell them im in a all girls band?
First of all, you're not in a band. Let alone an all girl band. You're probably 13, 14 tops, and you and your friends call eachother a band because you like Kelly Clarkson and watch too much MTV. You're not in a band, shut up.

I think its because when you say 'girl band' people think anything from Bananarama to Cheetah Girls. They forget about totally rocking bands like Vixen and Hole. Here's an idea: just tell them you're in a band, invite them to a show, and let the music do the talking!

Because, people think women can´t do what men can do. But we do it better. People are people, we´re the same. They just don´t get it. There´re things can be admired bu¡y both genres. Maybe women not be better than men. But we´re capable. Girls can do what any men can do and maybe better. Don´t ever listen to what they say. Just go ahead and do what you like. Keep on rocking. Girls can play guitar too!!

It's not the band part. I think they're probably surprised you are smart enough to string together enough words to speak a sentence if your typing is any indication.
