Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fans...are you sick of people bashing your drivers?

I'm fed up to here with all the Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. bashing here. But I don't think it will end as long as there are people who always find fault with them. Other drivers make the same mistakes as Smoke and Little E have!

Here's a lil article I wrote about it...
Sick of people ripping on Smoke
Okay, here it goes. I am totally frustrated, miffed and pissed off
at people who hate Tony Stewart. Other drivers do the same damn
thing Tony does but Tony is labeled bad and an asshole and a jerk
among other colorful anecdotes to describe his demeanor. I am ready
to blow a gasket I swear.

So Tony has a temper, so does everybody else. He's opinionated.
He's honest. He's a bit aggressive on the track and he gets sick of
media sticking their damn microphones in his face when he gets out
of his car. The man is claustrophobic, give him a break.

I want to see one of these buttheads in the media do what Tony does
with the pressure on him he has. He's a man for crying out loud!
He is not perfect.

If any man has ever had a heart it is Tony Stewart! Bad boy my
***. He donates money to all sorts of causes. He takes his time
with each fan when he can. His heart is broken over the loss of
others loved ones. He loans out his chopper and his plane to
friends for funerals, emergencies and weddings. He gives and he
gives but all people want to see is the side of Tony that embarasses
even him at times.

Give the man a break! He's talented. He can drive anything with
wheels on it and win. He's won so many damn championships in so
many different kinds of cars it's insane. He deserves some respect
for the things he does. So you're not a fan! Keep your mouth
shut. Wear his shoes for a day and see if you can hold your head
high at the end of the day.

I am just fed up. He is not gay. He is not an asshole nor is he
the other versions of that word I hear so often. He wears his heart
on his sleeve but I think he has finally realized that all you
people want to do is stomp it for him. Shoot me if I am wrong but
he is a man and he will make mistakes. He puts his pants on one leg
at a time just like everbody else. He loves what he does.

The media needs to back off a bit and let Smoke breathe. The fans
who don't like Tony need to take a better look at the man. I am
ready to kick some serious butt. One more person approaches me to
inform me that my jacket or my tshirt or my hat shows I am stupid
because of Tony I am going to go absolutely nuts. Psycho ward here
I come because I cannot handle people putting this man down anymore.

I am a Tony Stewart fan. I will always be a fan, even if he runs a
reporter over with his stock car. I have great respect for him. He
is my hero. If you don't like that, that is not my damn problem.
Give me some respect and Tony some and keep your stinking mouth
shut. I have stopped slamming Gordon and the Busch brothers out of
respect. Why can't everybody else?

Oh that's right because it's easier to put someone else down than it
is to look at your own faults as an individual. Get a life!

I like Dale Jr. and people do not have reasons to bash him...But Tony Stewart for crying out loud!! We all have every reason in the world to hate him!!!

The guy is talented-Yes! but he has no respect for anyone! He thinks that all the other drivers should move over on the racetrack [have more respect for him] Well let me tell you something-Smoke should be the one giving respect! Every driver out there has earned their way there-They should have as much respect for one guy as the next!!No matter what your name is-PERIOD.Smoke is an idiot-a trash.talking-respect.lacking driver-I used to like him but I dont think I will ever make that mistake again!! In fact Im kind of ashamed to admit that!! I now hate the guy-

I get very tired of hearing that Jr is where he is because of his daddy. His daddy sure isn't the one in there driving that car, Jr is. That's just how ignorant people are. You have to earn your spot in NASCAR. When I hear comments about Jr or other drivers I like to follow, I simply remember the Intimidators talk with Jeff Gordon....

Jeff Gordon (on the advice given to him by Dale Earnhardt): "When I was coming into the sport, I hadn't had a lot of success. Dale was the man ... but there were people booing (Earnhardt) and there were people who were cheering (Earnhardt) as well. I remember him saying, ‘When you have signs like that, and you hear boos, and you hear cheers, well you're doing something right. You remember that.' And I always did."

People bash Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards etc. too! It's the drama, if a driver does something good or bad and it gets attention, it is going to cause a stir!

I am sick of the people on here bashing Nascar as a whole! It's one thing for fans of the sport who know at least a little bit of what they are talking about to bash drivers, but for those who are clueless to answer our questions is what gets me!

It's part of the sport, we have to accept it!

Yeah, just because most of Dale Jr's fan base is young women like myself, doesn't make him any less a driver. I get tired of people making faces when they ask who my favorite driver is and I tell them it's Dale Jr. #8 Forever!!

YES! My favorite driver is Dale Jr. & when I tell certain people that they look at me like I'm crazy. I just want to know what Junior & Tony have done to those people to make them hate them so much! Just because someone doesn't like a driver doesn't mean they have to bad mouth them. I don't like Gordon, but I'm not going around saying bad things about him. Many people like Jeff & I respect that. If only everyone would do that.....................................

The more successful and/or popular people become, the more people who dislike them will be vocal and try to knock them down. Unfortunately, that's part of our culture now.

I'm a Tony Stewart fan and think he's the most talented driver in NASCAR. His temper, however, is something not to be proud of. It does make a good topic of conversation as well as good TV ratings.

any way...everyone else is just jealouse they can be as good as Jr or stewart....its all good though...at least we (jr and stewart fans) are smart enough to notice talent when we see it...besides, who wouldn't be pissed, budwiser and homedepot were made for each other....so they gotta wrap up at least 60% of the fans...we can take on the rest with that.
