Ok if im understanding ur question correctly.. ur the mistress, and ur pissed cause he vanishes from u for 2 to 3 months at a time then comes back .. LOL.. to funny, yeah hun unfortunately he's not get the same excitement out of sleeping around with u anymore so he's probably picked someone else and only uses u inbetween the next person he finds to sleep with,, UR A SURE THING lol.. and if he hasnt left his wife he's never going to , so u can either keep being treated like a whore.. or u can stop it all together, but dont get pissed at a man for treating your like crap, when your enabling him to do it.. First, I can not believe you are asking this question.
Anyone and several people here have told you that he wants to have his cake and eat it too. This is true of a lot of men.
Let's get back to you. I am assuming you are the mistress.
Actually, I believe you are a girlfriend and one of many. Which leads me to wonder do you care about your health. There are too many sexually transmitted diseases out there. The fact that it is several months in between visits, suggests a string of other women. We are not even going discuss your low self esteem.
To get involved w/ a married man, expecting him to leave his wife is foolish. If he cared about you as a person and knew what you wanted, or where unhappy with her. He would have left her before getting seriously involved with you.
If you got involved with him with the intention of being the mistress, then shut up.

im not going to be hard on you here, you never know what the future holds or what faith decides. you are the M she is the W whoever is in between is the thrill, five years honey, your like his second wife, and just like he got tired of his wife, he is tiring of you too, but keeps you on a line because he doesnt want you making trouble at his house with his family, he is hoping you will tire of his behaviour and dump him without making a sound, the new chicky is receiving all the attention now (if there is another) it might be that he is finally over his wild ways and is trying to work at his marriage, then you should respect this and carry on.
if there is another woman, maybe you should let his wife know about this and you, she deserves better than what she is getting. but make sure you dont let bitterness get the better of you, dont play with hearts and souls, good luck

Because he doesn't want to pay support to her or the kids probably, and divorces are expensive. You have to split things when you get a divorce and it looks bad too. Of course having a mistress does to, if you're caught by the wife ! Because you might end up divorced anyway, and the man could really lose his shirt to his wife !

He probably attempted to play it straight with the wife, and it obviously hasn't worked. The mistress is just his little playtoy that he can pick up whenever he feels like. The fact that you've allowed this to go on for so long is kinda ridiculous. Surely you can go out and get yourself someone who'll want you and you alone.

Are you the mistress, I'm confused. And if he's cheating on his wife with you, why would it be so hard to believe that he'd cheat on both of you as well. As for not leaving his wife, it's because he wants to have his cake and eat it too, and apparently- he is.
