Hezbollah translates into "Party Of God". Of course, God translates back into Allah. That is, all-AH.
The Arabic news reporters all pronounce the party name as HEZ-bol-Lah. The main stress is 'Hez-', while the 'Allah' part is stressed as the second most important, or the second syllable.
Say it with me, HEZ-bol-Lah.
NOT hezBOWLahhhh.
