No, I don't know for sure. It could be a number of things he is getting up there in age and even though stars and rock stars look good when they are younger it doesn't guarantee that they stay good-looking throughout their lifetime. I heard he sleeps a lot and during weird hours. He doesn't appear to be one that likes exercise either. I think he just doesn't really care what he looks like and you really have to work at looking good especially after age 35.

As much as I love The Cure's music, dear old Robert was never handsome. Is he now on some sort of Brian Wilson stay in bed, drugs and eating phase? I hope he has not hit the bottle as I always think alcohol is the worst thing to touch. I just hope his wife, Mary, and he are ok...she is a lovely woman.

I think maybe he started to eat properly once he got married. I love the cure and i still think robert smith is a hottie my favourite cure track is lullaby.

I think it's because he is an alcoholic and loves food and sleep...alcohol has lots of calories and tends to make you look bloated as well as overweight.
