This is a hard question to answer. All have great quality voices. I think M. Gaye has the best because he has the most versality meaning he can sing both upbeat songs and slow ballads very well. Smokey Robinson is second but his quality has went down since he has got older. When he was young and with the Miracles ,he gave M. Gaye a run for his money. David Ruffin has that old-sound from the church is made for ballad and moderate-beat songs but Eddie sangs most of the uptempo making him third. Barry White is fourth because his voice is build for ballads, his uptempo is not as good as a Smokey or Ruffin or Gaye.

Recap:
1) Marvin Gaye
2) Smokey Robinson
3) David Ruffin
4) Barry White

You have chosen four great voices. My opinion would have to run in this order.
1- Gaye
2 - White
3-Ruffin
4- Robinson

Choosing the best of these four would determine what mood you are seeking at the time.

You have a good ear for music.
