could be but dont think so sounds like your very active in the hottest part of the day. THe heat can make your blood pressure go up and cause headaches and nothing is wrong. Try not to be out so much but since its your work it will be hard. You could see if maybe you can do your work in the morning or the early evening before it gets to hot. take some breaks in the shade and have ice cold water take it easy if theres no way around working at them times just take the breaks and try not to over do it make sure you ask your doctor tho congrats and good luck

You need to talk to your doc about your working outside in all this heat. Sometimes it's not good to be doing that when you're pregnant. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the elevated BP (the 150) and your increased HR.
Try to sit in a cool apartment and put your feet up and relax. Drink plenty of water and juices and give the doc the call first thing in the morning. Remember to tell him about the headaches you've been having too (some will say it's from the elevated hormones).
All doctors are different in what they want you to be doing. Some do not want pregnant moms out in this heat at all...others will make allowances for certain periods of time, etc. Your doctor knows you the best so check with him/her about it all and get all your answers.
I wouldn't say that you are pre-eclampsic yet, since you BP has been fine at the doc...but you still will need to be checked out. It can change in a month or so.
Make sure to let the doc/nurse know any other symptoms you are having or ask any of the other questions you have too. Never be afraid to give your doc or nurse a call and ask questions. That is what they are there for and what you pay them for.
Stay cool and try to relax the rest of the evening.
Good luck!

It was probably the heat, running around and you may have had a little anxiety while taking your blood pressure at one of those machines. The best thing for you to do is call your doctors office or the hospital and let them know what happened and they can direct you from there, there is a lot of hysteria about pre eclampsia but it is rare that people actually get it.

No, a couple of elevated blood pressure readings does not mean you have preeclampsia.
Try not to panic over every little bump in the road. But do call your doctors office. The triage nurse is there to help you with questions like this, and good old common sense works wonders. (Not too much sun, plenty of rest, etc.)

The pharmacy blood pressure machines are famous for being inaccurate. I would not trust those readings. I would get my blood pressure checked someplace else, like the Doctor's Office, by tomorrow. And definitely report those headaches to your Doctor.

i had pre eclampsia with my first child, its not all about blood pressure its more than that, yr doctor or midwife will check for protein in your water and of course blood pressure and also platelets in yr blood. If u have any worries dont hesitate to see yr doctor u have to think of both yourself and your baby's health
My baby was born 13 weeks early and weighed 1lb 14oz but to look at her now you would never tell. Dont take your health for granted anything out of the ordinary go see some one. Sorry if it sounds extreme but i waited 2 weeks b4 i went to see my doctor if i'd left it long myself or my daughter might not be here, and my boy who is 7 and the baby i'm carrying now ... so best of luck to you

I got it with both of my kids. I suggest you put your feet up and rest. Drink lots of fluids, watch something on TV that relaxes you, and make sure you get into your ob/gyn first thing in the morning. One more thing, don't stress over it- you have to remember that this mainly is a problem for the mother, and not the baby, as long as you keep it under control. Good Luck and Congratulations!

No. Your BP would naturally rise in the heat and with stress. Pre eclampsia would be if your BP went up and stayed up even when you rest. It would be up first thing in the morning and it would be up even on bed rest. In addition to pregnancy induced hypertension you would be passing protein in your urine. This is what they look for at every apt. when they do a urinalysis. Just try to relax more and stay out of the heat.

high blood pressure and swelling of the feet hands and face.Which sometimes it can lead to stoke and/or seizures. Try to stay away from alot of sodium and drink plenty of water. Rest as much as you can with your feet up. I had it with my 1st towards the end of my pregnancy and I was induced at 39 weeks the is no way to cure it you would have to deliver.
