false pregnancy. hormones should have been out of wack somehow are another.

what makes you think you had a miscarriage? If the cervix was closed and blood work negative, then I doubt very much that you had a miscarriage.

Could have been. I was pregnant, confirmed by tests (more than one, no way it was false, and one was the doc blood test). I started bleeding, but had no pain. I was about 8 weeks at the time. I went to the doc and he did an ultrasound, there was nothing in there. He told me more than likely what happened was that the embryo reabsorbed itself back into my system. He said that is rare, but it does happen.
