After Mel Gibson was arrested, he said, "I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested, and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are despicable."

The Anti-Defamation League said in a statement on Sunday that Gibson's response was "unremorseful and insufficient" and that his tirade "finally reveals his true self."

If that is true, what could Mr. Gibson have said to show that he was indeed remorseful?

As far as I'm concerned, the only people that he should be apologizing to is his family. He has 7 kids that now have to deal with their dad's public humiliation.

As for those who claim Mel Gibson's response was "unremorseful and insufficient", they should hope that their mistakes never become world-wide news.

Here is the truth...and it's going to hurt some, but the truth does that.

1. Mel made a movie in a town run by Jews. Hollywood is dominated by Jews. How is that? Are Jews prejudiced? Why such a fuss when he made the movie? Jews don't like Christians and don't want to do Christians any favors. No one in Hollywood had any interest in making a good film about Christ. Truth is, Jews are in power and are hindering Christians. Mel was in a position to do something great, and ...

2. the Jews, in power, were ostracizing Mel and hurting his career. Stress from the Jews prejudice against him...did this. It was weighing on him and stressing him.

3. when he was liquored up, naturally, it all just came out ....raw

Who is at fault?

Mel was persecuted, behind the scenes. This persecution, none of us could see. He was stressed cause the Jewish powers in Hollywood, were stressing his every move. Mel isn't at fault.

the Jews are at fault because they never did learn the lesson, that Christiand don't hate them. But a warning to the Christians: the Jews do resent and hate you...and will hinder you when then can.

How could he possibly do that? He obviously revealed that he is a racist, which dramatically changes how people should view Passion of the Christ.

It was obviously intended as a blood libel, now that we know where Gibson is REALLY coming from with regard to jews.

How can you possibly say your sorry after that? It's a deep insult to even try. Mel Gibson is sorry alright. Sorry he got caught.

He's navel lint.

Mel Gibson is an out-and-out anti-Semitic lunatic. He's 100% off-the-wall nuts and obsessed with Jews.

Anyone in Hollywood with any human decency will consider him persona non grata from now on.

(As if that inciting movie he made wasn't enough)

One Rabbi I read had it about right. Some people, he said, when they are drunk enough, let their guard down and say whatever is deep in their heart, something they would never allow themselves to do in a normal state.

I'm sure Gibson is sorry he let his guard down and got caught saying publicly what he otherwise would never have been caught saying. That doesn't change what's deep in his heart.

Nor what's there, perhaps quite unconsciously intended, in Passion of Christ.
