yes and no - live yogurt contains good bacteria that can help your body fight off the fungus that causes thrush...it's better as a preventative, not as a cure for existing thrush. You can also take acidophilus tablets (in the vitamin aisle or ask the pharmacist) which have the same benefits and are more convenient. If you currently have thrush, the best treatment is antifungal medications prescribed by your doc.

Yes it does cool it down, it also helps kill the yeast infection which thrush is.

Plain yoghurt I have been told is the best.

I get a 1 oral tablet treatment from the doctor that works best on me. I tend to get thrush with certain antibiotics.

Only if it is thrush of the mouth or you have a lot of yeast in your digestive tract. The type of lactobacillus in yogurt isn't the same type as in the vagina and it won't live long down there. That is just a myth.

Yes but make sure it's plain and no sugar as sugar feeds thrush and metblondie it's not a virus it's a fungus. Drink cranberry juice it helps to clear it and if you carry on drinking it it helps to stop it returning.

Did you know thrush can kill you if left untreated?
Seriously.
It spreads to your bowels, intestines, stomach and stops your body absorbing nutrients (called leaky gut syndrome at that stage)
You lose lots of weight and can die.

Yes you can, but it is better to go to your doctor and get the proper treatment or just go to the chemist and buy some Caniston Duo.
