I'm going on holidays only in September, but I've worked overtime for the last couple of weeks and I'm reaching the limit. Fortunately I have a couple of days off this week, and I was wonder how to spend them relaxing to then face another month of work.
I don't think I have the strength to take a trip so what would you do to if you had a nice couple of days to relax at home?
What do you do to relax?

Do nothing-sleep late, lie around the house on the sofa, go swimming, see a movie, read a book, don't answer the phone, soak in a hot tub, if you don't have access to a hot tub then soak in your bathtub in a nice hot bubble bath!!

Play the Sims 2 ..build houses OK but whatever you do:
Do some exercise at least 15 min a day if you're sitting all the time your muscles actually get tense, and painful after a while and you also feel stupid, at least stretch your body properly f or a few min, try yoga,
oh and sex helps too lol

Over sleep. Wait for the postie to wake you up. Wander about in your jammies/dressing gown and slippers. Have a nice brekkie. Have a shower and put on some funky clothes. Lunch. Go out to the cinema. Muck about on PC. Nap. Have your tea. DVD. Snacks. Wear your sparkly flip flops which you bought when you were out at the movies. Back to your bed and have a read at your book. Light out and night, night.

Go on strike, make the rest of the family do the housework, sleep til whenever, lounge about in your PJ's til whenever, sit in the sunshine if its nice, basically do nothing. And in the evening hog the bathroom for at least 2 hours while you have a nice bubble bath, with a glass of wine and a good book.

If it's cool enough, I take a nice long bubble bath.

If it's not, I tend to swim in my pool, with some music like Enya ... new age-y kind of stuff. (Same music for bubble bath).

I find walking early in the morning relaxes me, too, and reading out on the back patio in the early evening.

Have a fun holiday!

Do something you enjoy. Like mine is playing video games watching TV or even riding my bike to relax. Do some thing that you enjoy. Or just close your eyes. Or take a sleeping pill or somehting to control your nerves

Easy - Music, choclate and a candle lit bubble bath.

You sound like you deserve the rest - chuck everyone out the house, turn your phone off and shut yourself off from everything. Bliss!
