How come when I was watching Harry Potter and the Socerer's Stone I saw a scene I hadn't ever seen before, it's not on my DVD. It's right after Hagrid gets Harry from the Dursley's and they are riding on a bus/train/subway and Hagrid is talking about how he likes dragons and muggles are looking at him weird... is it on my DVD and I've missed it?

The DVD version is what's played in theatres. Usually the DVD's have special features such as deleted scenes. These scenes were cut from the final movie to fit a specific time frame. The version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that has been running on ABC Family channel is the complete, uncut version. The Chamber of Secrets is the same way.
