I need a program to show me how to keep my budget. I made one through Excel, but I don't stick to it. Credit cards are pilling up, rents past due, and 9-10 times a day I have collectors calling me. Our income monthly is approx. $4000.00, our monthly bills are $3200.00 and the past due/collections/credit cards total around $10,000.00. Anyone have any ideas? Programs? Websites? Anything.... Please help me!!!

Wow. This makes me and my problems seem like nothing. I could only WISH for 4k a month income.

No budget program is going to help you.

YOU have to help you.

STOP using the cards. Cut them up. If you don't have the cash on hand, don't buy it.

Tell the creditors that you want them to contact you by mail, and if they call again, you will bring suit against them for harassment.

Call all of your creditors and tell them, "I know my monthly payment is ___, but I can only afford to pay 1/3 of that (or whatever) per month. Please, can I talk to someone about a 12 month Fixed Payment Plan?" Then have those payments automatically debited from your account each month.

Talk to yoru landlord and exlain that you are sorry you are late (again....?) and that you are trying to mediate the problem. Tell him/them what you can pay right now, and ask if they will give you a little slack if you pick up the remainder over the next couple months.

All of that will give you a little breathing room, but KEEPING TO IT, keeping to that new budget... that is all on you baby.

No program really works for me except
I 've used Yahoo Calendar reminder to send me emails before bills are due.You can set this to remind you on a monthly or yearly basis.
Once it reminds you all you have to do is pay your bill on line.Voila!
