I am travelling to LA, California from San Antonio, TX along I-10 very soon and was wondering if anyone knows where the checkpoints are located, or how I could find this info. I just want to be prepared as to how much time I may have to add to the trip on account of these checkpoints, and know where they are so maybe I can call the roads departments and ask them how much of a delay can be expected. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Just any checkpoints, border patrol are the only ones I think there are though.

Unless something has changed in the last 4 years the only check points on I-10 were weigh stations for 18 wheelers.
I haven't been on the road for 4-5 years so ??

GEE, can't you just allow a little extra time? If your schedule is that tight, you may not be able to stop to PEE.
